...AKA my trip to Anime Boston '08. Thank god we pre-registered, 'cause my friend was in the normal registration line for 10 hours. Yes, 10. Noon 'till 10:06pm. Absolutely ridiculous. (I don't even know why she stayed in line, I woulda been out of there and on my way home by the time I realized how long the line was. And it wasn't like pre-reg was much better! We got there at 2:30 or so and weren't out 'til at least 7:00. Arrrgh. This was after our flight was delayed three hours....Then on the way back we had to wait 2 hours for one bus, and 2 hours for another!

But I must say, The Pillows were totally worth every minute of it. That was the most awesome show I have ever seen. And, since I had pen and paper, between jumping around like an idiot I wrote down the

Yeah, it was flippin’ sweet. And I got their autographs!

The rest of the convention was pretty cool too. I had a lot of fun dressing up (I was Rinoa Heartilly Friday and Maria Renard Saturday.) I missed most panels Friday, but saw some good and bad karaoke, a lot of awesome cosplay, cool stuff at artist alley, and had some good conversations with fellow denizens of the line from hell. Saturday rocked really hard, and Sunday I pretty much bought stuff and went home. Yay for keyblade necklaces!

So, all in all, The Pillows was worth the entire trip. I’d like to go back next year and do more convention-y things, like the Masquerade, which I had to leave early from, but we’ll see about that. Getting a hotel room would be nice, if I could afford it.

Also, the video they played before the pillows, Dead or Alive vs. Final Fantasy, was really, really awesome. That is what Advent Children should have been. I am going to try and find a download of it now.
